Family Dispute Resolution (‘FDR’)
Do you have children as a result of your relationship?
Yes - then the courts now require parents looking to separate or divorce to first attempt to resolve their matter outside of court processes.
You might not need to go to mediation if you successfully negotiate a settlement offer.
Sherri understand’s that not everyone can advocate for themselves during such an emotional time. With Sherri in the mediation room with you, you can go on and comply with your obligations while Sherri ensures your rights are being protected.
Come in and see us before you attempt mediation.
We can walk you through what your rights are under your circumstances and go through a few options to propose to the other party to settle the issue.
Once you have an idea of what you want to propose, Sherri can talk you through your options in case the other party does not agree and what it would likely cost you if the matter is not settled in mediation.
Don’t want to go it alone?
Alternatively, you can engage our services to have Sherri Gullickson join you at your Mediation to ensure that anything you negotiate on the day is within your rights and entitlements.
Get it done sooner.
If you both parties settle on the day, Sherri has the ability to draft up the required document that will allow the parties to make their terms of settlement legally binding. Allowing you to get it settled sooner.
Need a Mediator?
Not only is Sherri Gullickson a qualified lawyer, she is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (‘FDRP’) and NMAS Mediator.
